This Wednesday, ALIVE Magazine kicks off a new series of events at the Contemporary Art Museum entitled Flight. The concept is to feature a geographic region, showcasing food, beverage and entertainment as well as the current exhibition.
The first event is a trip to the Caribbean, featuring Appleton Estates Rum and Virgin Vines Wine all paired with appetizers from the new menu at Brandt’s Café. Your “in-flight” entertainment (groan) will be provided by Hot House Sessions and Papa Ray. Current artist is Maya Lin with her exhibit entitled Systematic Landscapes. Tickets are $8 in advance ($10 at the door) and are available at www.contemporarystl.org.
I am one of the guest ambassadors for this event along with fellow blogger Dwight Carter so you better go or we will write bad things about you.
